So uhm...

My thing isn't too deep or anything. I don't have anything profound to say right now. And I don't have any grievances. I'm actually getting used to this whole ... thing.

football or

That's okay, Nine. You don't have to say anything profound or protest. Just be yourself.

Self... Hmmm...

Well, what's your favorite song? You can only choose one. And as a rule, it can only be from the decade you were launched into space.

oh worm

time to get in the mood

you can't just spring this on someone out of nowhere

this might take eons to answer properly

Do you have an answer prepared, Nine?

Not really, I'm just curious. I'll have to think too.

i mean if it was songs of this decade it'd be an easy answer but you just had to throw a rule wrench huh

Considering how Nine woke up last, I have a feeling they will think of their answer first. The music must be fresher in your memories... if you recall.

Hrmmh... You're right. I thought of something.

oho?

I'll go first.

ohohoho

Come Fly With Me by Frank Sinatra.

It does suit you, but would you care to explain why?

that's 1958 right?

just barely in your decade

.

.

.

It somehow makes me nostalgic.

Not just for my time period, but what everything represented.

Human curiosity and the thirst for knowledge.

The sky was the limit. But now...

The sky seems so small.

You're still not used to this, are you?

No I guess not.

also don't forget the most obvious reason you chose that song

sinatra was the shit

a bossman

didn't sinatra try to use the mafia to kill woody allen or something

I suppose it's my turn.

but the mafia was like "no frank! we don't kill celebrities! bad rap!" or something

...

Would it be too cliché to say Rocket Man by Elton John?

h

holy

holy shit

literally the year you launched

the song entitled rocket man

ten, you're really next-level

you leave us in the dust

I'm not trying to be ironic.

I think it's an incredibly human song.

And it encaptures a story. And loneliness. I relate to it on some level. Especially the end. And I think it's gonna be a long long time on repeat.

I actually haven't thought about that song in quite some time.

Thank you, Nine. For asking this question.

No need to thank me! Thanks for answering!

Juice, did you think of one yet?

yeah i got one

it's ******** ******** by *********

???

it's ******** ********

oh wow i guess it's a spoiler for the people who read this

sucks to be them cause it's an awesome song

I want to hear it. And I want to hear Rocket Man too.

Of course.

my favorite is baila esta cumbia by selena.

i would've chosen better songs by her but you limited it to my decade

Wow you even attracted Hubble with this.

that's all i wanted to say

peace

I was thinking this is something we could do every day. Like 20 questions, except one a day. Until we run out of questions about each other and start over again. That sounds fun, right?

Because I was also thinking about how people change. I know we're not alive in the sense of the word. But I feel like we are. We don't need hearts, like Ten said. Things aren't required for us to feel like it. And like Juice said, we are more than the sum of our parts. So when we get back to this question, we might think up a new answer.

i dunno what would beat sinatra except another sinatra song but i get it and i approve

We'll even do "favorite song ever" and we can debate it eventually.

We have all the time in the world, after all.

There's no one else I'd rather spend it than with the two of you.
